The Bangkok Metropolitan Police Bureau has announced that it will reduce the number of screening checkpoints that are active during the night curfew from 89 to 52 effective immediately.
The reduction in the number of checkpoints comes as less people are being caught violating the night curfew and it allows the police to allocate more officers to every checkpoint.
