The Governor of Krabi has signed an order that will limit all arrivals and departures to and from the province.
The new rules, which come into effect from today, Saturday, April 4th, state that checkpoints will be set up to screen everyone moving in and out of the area.
In addition, Koh Phi Phi, Koh Lanta, and Ao Nang will lockdown with immediate effect – nobody will be allowed in or out.
Hotels in the regions with no guests are to close to immediately and face masks are now compulsory when in public.
The Governor of Prachuab Khiri Khan has also signed a new order expanding on his previous rule that all foreigners must report to a hospital when entering the province.
The latest updates say that all hotels in Hua Hin and throughout the province must close except this with guests and everyone must wear a mask in public or face a 20,000 baht fine.
