Thailand Post has announced that it is restoring international postal service to some destinations as governments around the world ease lockdown measures.
Services had been heavily affected by the coronavirus pandemic which led to strict lockdowns in Thailand and many other countries globally.
However, the national postal service made an announcement on its Facebook page yesterday, Wednesday, May 20th, informing customers that some international services had resumed and more will follow in the coming days.
For now, EMS World services have resumed to 11 countries:
- Hong Kong
- South Korea
E-packet services are also available to Bhutan, China, South Korea, Russia, and Singapore.
Other services have also resumed including Courier Post services to 107 locations, and Logispost World service to 31 locations.
However, as the covid-19 situation in many countries remains flexible, Thailand Post warned customers to expect delays and to check regularly for updated lists.
