
As lockdown measures continue to ease across Thailand, the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT) has announced that a further seven provincial airports will reopen for domestic flights from today, June 6th.
The announcement comes as the Thai Government plans further ease restrictions next Friday by allowing 12 more businesses and venues to open again.
The airports that will resume operations from today are Korat, Trad, Tak, Phetchabun, Sukothai, Pai, and Narathiwat.
Opening hours for the airports will be restricted with operating hours between 6 am and 8 pm only.
The full list of airports opened for domestic flights only in Thailand is as follows:
- Khon Kaen
- Chumphon
- Tak
- Trad
- Trang
- Korat
- Nakhon Phanom
- Nakhon Si Thammarat
- Nan Nakhon
- Narathiwat
- Buriram
- Pai
- Phitsanulok
- Phetchabun
- Phrae
- Mae Sot
- Mae Hong Son
- Ranong
- Roi Et
- Loei
- Lampang
- Sakon Nakhon
- Sukothai
- Udon Thani
- Ubon Ratchathani
Anyone planning to fly domestically is urged to check the rules in place for arrivals at their destination province.
Several airports are also open for both domestic flights and international repatriation flights. These include:
- Krabi
- Don Mueang (Bangkok)
- Suvarnabhumi (Bangkok)
- Chiang Mai
- Mae Fah Luang (Chiang Rai)
- Samui
- Surat Thani
- Hat Yai
- Hua Hin
- U-Tapao (Pattaya)
Phuket airport will join the list for domestic flights only on June 15th.
