
A poll carried out by Suan Dusit Rajabhat University has found that the majority of Thai people are not satisfied with the government’s handling of the coronavirus pandemic.
The poll, coined “Suan Dusit Poll”, was carried out between March 31st and April 3rd. It surveyed 3,183 people online from around Thailand regarding the covid-19 virus.
When asked about confidence in the government’s ability to contain the virus, 62.57% said they had little or no confidence and 22.34% said they had no confidence at all.
More than half of the surveyed people also said they are not happy with the government’s handling of the situation.
When asked what they have done more since the outbreak began, 89.6% said they spent more time at home, while 59.16% spent more time on social media. 60.07% drank more water and 85.3% said they eat more healthy food.
In terms of maintaining routines, 47.44% of people said they still do their physical exercise routine, 47.97% said they maintain their medicine-taking routine, and 35.88% said they play computer games as normal.
