The Governor of Nonthaburi has announced that the province will begin to ease restrictions over the coming days to help people access businesses that are necessary for daily life.
The businesses included on the list are barbershops, hair salons, courier services, lottery stalls, construction material stores, office equipment stores, furniture stores, mobile service stalls and shops, computer repair and sales shops, and electrical appliance and kitchenware shops.
Any stores that reopen must implement a screening area for customers and provide hand sanitizer gel at the entrance of the shop. They must also implement a system that allows for a space of one meter between customers and additional facilities for senior citizens.
Barbers and hair salons have additional rules to follow including wearing face masks or face shields and gloves while cutting hair. They are also not allowed to use razor blades.
Customers must wear face masks or face shields while in the stores and are not allowed to wait inside any shops for services.
The announcement comes in light of a continuous drop in new coronavirus cases across Thailand with only 28 new cases announced yesterday.
