Police arrested a group of seven Russian nationals on Sunday night after receiving complaints about loud music and noise after the nationwide curfew hours.
Officials responded to complaints made by local residents in Nai Wok village after midnight and found a drinking party in progress both inside and around a two-story house.
There were seven Russians partying, both male and female, with loud music coming from speakers and alcohol and marijuana at the scene.
The party happened on the first night after the ban on alcohol sales was lifted nationwide.
Officials arrested all seven people and charged them with violating the emergency decree and the use of illegal drugs.
The incident is not the first party to be broken up by local police after 18 people were arrested for hosting a large house party recently on the island.
