A Thai man who was denied entry to a 7-11 store in Pathum Thani went into a fit of rage, spitting in the face of the employee who denied him entry to the store.
The incident occurred on April 11th at approximately 8 pm in front of a 7-11 store in a PTT petrol station in Lam Luk Ka, Pathum Thani.
As is common in all 7-11 stores at the moment, there was an employee standing by the entrance with a temperature gun and hand sanitizer, checking all customers who wished to enter the store.
The man in question was not wearing a face mask when he approached the store. Face masks are required to enter any 7-11 store in the country to help prevent the spread of coronavirus.
When the man reached the entrance he was informed by the employee that he could not enter as he didn’t have a face mask. The man instantly became aggravated and spat into the face of the 7-11 employee.
After the incident, the employee went to Ku Kot Police Station to file a report. The man eventually handed himself into police on April 15th, claiming the whole thing was a “joke” and he didn’t think it would be such a big deal.
