A British man has died after jumping from an expressway in Bangkok’s Hua Mak district according to reports.
Witnesses report seeing the man leap from the Sirat Expressway onto Ramkhamaeng Road at approximately 7 am on Saturday morning, April 4th.
The parked car belonging to the deceased was found empty on the expressway when police and officials arrived on the scene to investigate the incident.
The scene was approached by police and forensic teams wearing full protective gear in case the man was infected with the coronavirus.
Documentation discovered in the parked truck led officials the deceased’s wife who told the police that her husband was from the UK and had become depressed due to losses in his business.
She also confirmed the body was not infected with covid-19.
The body was later brought to the Institute of Forensic Medicine, Police General Hospital for an autopsy.
