The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) has announced the launch of a new service that can test people at their homes for coronavirus.
The project, in conjunction with Mor Panda Lab, will go to the homes of people who have completed an online assessment test and are considered “at-risk” of having the virus.
The mobile unit will cover “as much of Bangkok as possible” in order to contain the spread of covid-19 throughout the city.
If anyone tests positive during a mobile screening, they will be taken to local treatment facilities and isolated from the public.
To complete a questionnaire and online screening, you can visit the newly launched website at http://bkkcovid19.bangkok.go.th/covid/.
However, the website is currently only available in Thai so a little help from Google translate will assist any non-Thai speakers with completing the online form.
Since the website launched last Friday it has received more than 20,000 online screening submissions.
