On Monday, 136 new covid-19 cases were announced, meaning there is a slight reduction in the new number of cases today.
However, while there are less new cases than yesterday, the virus is spreading around the country rapidly with 61 provinces reporting cases of the infection.

Bangkok has the highest number of cases with 796, followed by Nonthaburi with 79, and Phuket with 55.
Bangkok will not shut down for now despite having the highest number of cases in the country as new virus cases are increasingly being discovered outside of the capital.
Today’s figures also include one death, taking the total number of deaths into double figures for Thailand.
