The Governor of Chonburi has issued a notice retracting all emergency measures across the province, including Pattaya, from May 1st.
The order lists many of the announcements that have been made over the last few weeks regarding lockdown measures across Chonburi province including the ban on alcohol sales and the checkpoints to stop people moving in and out of Pattaya.
According to the new order, the coronavirus situation in Chonburi is “likely to be resolved”, resulting in the easing of restrictions across the province.
All previous provincial orders will become null and void at the end of this month, however, any nationwide restrictions will still remain in place across the province.
The order is shown below (in Thai).
