Bangkok Airways has announced the closure of three regional airports in Thailand due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The airline, which canceled all domestic flights between April 7th and April 30th, has closed the following airports:
- Trat Airport between April 5th and April 30th
- Samui Airport between April 7th and April 30th
- Sukhonthai Airport between April 7th and April 30th
The announcement comes during a period when all incoming flights to Thailand are suspended until Monday, April 6th due to a group of Thai people refusing quarantine in Suvarnabhumi Airport.
The three airports will still serve state or military flights, emergency-landing flights, technical-landing flights, humanitarian aid/medical relief flights, repatriation flights, and cargo flights.
