
Bangkok Airways has announced that it will cancel all domestic flights within Thailand from April 7th until April 30th.
The company reported the move to the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) on Wednesday, April 1st.
Flights will be stopped on all routes, including:
- Bangkok – Chiang Mai
- Bangkok – Phuket
- Bangkok – Trat
- Bangkok – Sukothai
- Bangkok – Samui
- Samui – Phuket
The Vice-President to the Corporate Secretary of Bangkok Airways, Tresarun Sitakalin, said:
“The company had earlier decreased flight frequencies on these routes and used smaller ATR aircraft instead of normal aircraft. From April 7 onwards until April 30, we will cancel all flights.”
The move follows Thai Airways canceling a large number of flights and the closure of airspace in Phuket.
